We are writing to ask for your support in refilling our annual operating and programming funds as we crest our seventh year and look to our eighth year of projects. We have consistently grown over the years and will continue to expand our impact in 2026. In these uncertain times, your donation will help solidify and fuel the exchange of contemporary art and ideas through our arts residencies, performing arts tours, professional development activities, curatorial programming, and consultation.
Our 2025 end-of-year campaign goal is $10,000. This will deeply impact the way we operate by offsetting many of our base expenses and stabilizing our programming finances in 2026 and beyond.
What are you really supporting? You are helping underwrite:
- Pachoa! (3 fully scholarshipped and supported residents in Apapacho.)
- All residents in Apapacho. (No resident pays the full cost of the space, mentorship, and management.)
- Expenses of traveling art and artists
- The annual CDMX Art Trip (nobody in the cohort pays the full expense of the program.)
- Research and development of public exhibitions and programming
- The many operational expenses (website, email, fees, software, etc.)
We strive to keep our support for artists free and the costs minimal for participants in our fee-based programming. Your gift will ensure the sustainability of the work we do throughout the year and the accessibility of our offerings.
PROArtes México was created to bolster the ability of contemporary artists to work and exchange ideas between the USA and Mexico as well as promote exemplary Mexican art internationally. We are grateful to have had the opportunity to do this work with our many collaborators over the years.
