Boombox Benefit

Over the course of 8 months we worked with Salt Lake City-based ceramicist Horacio Rodriguez in documenting his ambitious community-centric collaborative project, the Boombox Benefit. It took the artist 4 months to perfect the process and cast 10 porcelain boomboxes. Once molded and fired, each boombox was then passed to local artists—Lilian Agar, Andrew Alba, Fidalis Buehler, Hazel Rodriguez Coppola, Miguel Galaz, Jiyoun Lee-Lodge, Vicky Lowe, Andrew Rice, and Jorge Rojas––to paint and alter … Click for more info

En el transcurso de 8 meses, trabajamos con el ceramista de Salt Lake City, Horacio Rodríguez, para documentar su ambicioso proyecto colaborativo centrado en la comunidad, Boombox Benefit. El artista tardó 4 meses en perfeccionar el proceso y fundir 10 boomboxes de porcelana.
